Gold would cheerfully see Teague dead, but he is convinced to help transport him to a military prison to pay for his crimes. Along the way, Gold will have to fight off Teague’s team who are attempting to extract him, as well as a sniper seemingly hell-bent on killing Teague before he can be secured."

The Bromley Boys!
16 October 2016
Only months after the exciting news about Vengeance (see below) and already we can bring you information about Mark's next movie!
The Bromley Boys is a British movie set in the 60's-70's about a lowly football team and it has some big names attached to it including Martine McCutcheon, Gareth Hale and Jamie Foreman. Here is a description of the movie taken from the official website www.thebromleyboys.com
'The Bromley Boys is a funny yet touching coming of age football memoir played out to the sights and sounds of late 60’s/early 70s Britain. Adapted from the hilarious novel by Dave Roberts, it recounts the author’s highs and the lows supporting his beloved Bromley FC through their worst ever season.
Bumping along at the bottom of the bottom non-league division, and effectively the worst football team in Britain, Bromley had reached breaking point. Desperate for a change of fortune, and deluded by his own over active imagination, Dave hatches a plan that will not only see Bromley grabbing the headlines on Match of the Day, but also have a number of top flight clubs descending upon Hayes Lane to scout Bromley’s dubiously overrated centre forward.
Throw into the mix the Bromley Chairman’s daughter Ruby King – who actually hates football – and you have a recipe for disaster which has Dave’s football fandom tested to the core.'
We'll bring you more details about which character Mark plays as we get it. You can also keep up to date wit all the news about the movie on the page The Bromley Boys!

The Two Faces of Agent Lacey
17 November 2015
We recently brought you the news that Two Shillings and Six Pence, the theatre group that Mark is a member of, are going to be performing their latest play, The Two Faces of Agent Lacey, in London's West End. The play will be staged at Arts Theatre, Great Newport Street, London, WC2H 7JB from Monday 4th Jan 2016 - Saturday 9th Jan 2016 at 7.30pm each night. Here is the description of what the play is about.
'The Two Faces of Agent Lacey is a play about theatrical agent Stephen Lacey and the relationships he has with his clients.
Many of them struggling with disillusionment in their acting careers, work anxiety, and personal economic insecurity. The successful relationships he's built with his clients over time are built on trust, and good business advice. With the ever increasing presence of social media forcing a different approach to business, Lacey and his actors navigate their way into the twenty-first century in an attempt to utilise what twitter and its ugly sisters have to offer.
On the outside he plays his role of agent, friend, mentor and some time therapist with great conviction. On the inside it is a very different story. His long time client, the Palme D'or nominated Billy Lean is having a difficult time getting work and his jobbing theatre roles are tainted by some ever spiteful reviews thus dragging Billy down further into a pit of desperation.
Agent Lacey is forced to address his own corrosive part in his clients troubles when an ex girlfriend shows up keen to stage the story of their past. Having rehabilitated her own life she is determined to get those she was once close with to do the same. By turning her past into a stage play, how much does she blur the lines of fiction and reality? Is all memory just subjective? Her visit dictates that Lacey face some uncomfortable truths, setting both himself and Billy Lean free on to a clearer collaborative future path.'
The Full Cast are: Mark Griffin, Christien Anholt, Marie Françoise-Wolff, Edyta Budnik, Lisa Gorgin, Selina Giles, Dramatic Jen, Tom Holloway, Tom Leeper and Malcolm Freeman

Rave Reviews for
Bluebird!
11 May 2015
Almost a week into
the month long run of Bluebird on stage
at the Tabard Theatre London and already it's getting great reviews from
theatre critics.
Londontheatre1.com said...
"Malcolm Freeman as taxi driver Jimmy Macneill has an intelligent enquiry in his eyes and a sadness in his demeanour that underpins the whole play as he renders a heartrending performance of desperation combined with determination. Selina Giles as his wife Clare is classy and convincing, her luminously expressive features moving through hatred, denial, grief and love with breathtaking power. They are joined by a stellar cast, many of them with multiple awards and credits to their name, playing the series of passengers in the taxi — Daniel O’Meara, Christien Anholt, Mark Griffin, Emma Louise-Saunders, Marie-Francoise Wolff, Nicholas Newman, Lisa Gorgin. The intimacy of The Tabard makes this production an education in stage craft as well as an education in the proverbial “life”. I’m so pleased I saw this. Catch this ride while you still can."
While ayoungtheatre.com singled Mark out for praise in their review…"Mark Griffin’s performance as a bouncer haunted by the visions of nightclub violence is particularly memorable; his stilted refusals to engage in conversation turn into a pained recounting of the night’s events."
While Mark plays bouncer Andy Green in the play, on 19, 22 and 28 May he will be understudying Malcolm Freeman as the lead character Jimmy Macneill.
Also the Facebook page we told you about previously for the theatre group that Mark is a member of, the Bridge Company Players, has changed it's name to Two Shillings and Sixpence Productions. You can find it at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Two-Shillings-and-Sixpence-productions/305948126273769

Now we find ourselves at the end of the year and still there is more, as we've just brought you the news that Mark is to feature in an episode of Sky1's huge drama Strike Back and as we always like to bring you little exclusives here at MGF, here's another…
As panto season is in full swing (oh yes it is!) we, for the first time, now have every one of Mark's pantomime posters for you to view. The final one being the one you see on the right, Robinson Crusoe from 1994/1995.
I want to take this opportunity to thank…Chris at the Alban Arena for the Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood poster, Malcolm at The Grand Opera House York for the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs poster and Christian at the Bournemouth Pavilion for the Robinson Crusoe poster, you've all contributed to make a wonderful gallery, thank you.
As admin of this site, I'd also like to thank each and every one of you for checking out the site this year, we may not be the biggest site but we strive to be one of the best and you help to make us what we are. Also I'd like to thank Mark Griffin himself for being someone so positive, who for over twenty years has inspired so many people (myself included) in so many different ways and continues to do so with a humble and gracious attitude. This year he gave me the green light to make this site Official and I could never have hoped for that when it all started so here's to 2015!
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all from Mark Griffin Fans x

We'll bring you information about where you can buy the DVD closer to the release date.
Never fear, the DVD is here!

Great news for anyone who missed Mark's appearance in Sky1's drama The Smoke, is it is now out on DVD!
It would seem that Sky1 decided to show episode two of The Smoke to kick off the series on 20 February with a bang and then show, the originally scheduled, episode one the following week. Unfortunately episode one was the one which Mark appeared in and anyone tuning in to see him that first week would have been left both confused and disappointed (I know I was) but no such worries with the DVD.
You can order it at Acorn http://www.acorndvd.com/the-smoke.html
for £13.99 or Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Smoke-DVD-Jodie-Whittaker/dp/B00ITPE2V6/ref=sr_1_1/275-3491078-2335118 for £14.00 or buy it in Sainsbury's right now for just £12.99.

Dragons of Camelot News
27 November 2013
More information has emerged about new feature film Dragons of Camelot which, as we recently reported, stars Mark Griffin as Lancelot. Filming has just wrapped in North Wales on the low budget production, though the budget won't be hindering the ambition of the project as the synopsis, on website Titan Global, suggested:
'The Kingdom of Camelot is plunged into darkness after the death of noble King Arthur, as the reign of his cruel sorceress sister, Morgan, begins. Commanding three deadly dragons with her dark magic, she hunts the remaining Knights of the Round Table to the ends of the Earth.
Galahad realizes that in order to succeed, they must find his father, Lancelot, who's been in exile for years. Only then will they be able to journey back to Camelot, defeat Morgan and her dragons, and rescue the Lady Guinevere and the wizard, Merlin.
Galahad, Lancelot, Percival and the other brave knights of the ancient order of legend make their perilous journey across hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain, facing hardships and danger at every turn, an epic quest based on the classic tale of King Arthur and his loyal knights.'
Titan Global, whose president is Commando director Mark L. Lester, will be distributing Dragons of Camelot.
A movie poster has also been released portraying a fire breathing dragon in a battle with a group of knights (see above right). Keep checking back for more updates.

Mark lands new TV role
11 May 2013
Mark Griffin has landed a role in Sky 1's brand new drama The Smoke. The series which focuses on a team of London firefighters, White Watch, and their work and home lives. Here is a press release from www.sky1.sky.com
'Written by Lucy Kirkwood (Skins), this eight part series follows the high-adrenaline adventures of White Watch, a team of London firefighters. Leading the crew is Kev (Jamie Bamber), a good man injured and betrayed during the worst fire of his career. Standing by Kev’s side as he returns to work is his gutsy girlfriend Trish (Jodie Whittaker) and his cocksure friend and fellow firefighter Mal (Rhashan Stone). Other members of the crew include the fearless Ziggy (Pippa Bennett-Warner) and the mysterious new boy Dennis (Taron Egerton).
The Smoke is a high octane, emotionally gripping, funny and occasionally outrageous ensemble drama about what it’s really like to be a firefighter in Britain today. And it’s tough trying to be a hero in a world that dismisses and disregards heroes. But whatever White Watch might go through, they are never beaten down, and they are always able to fall back on one another. As irreverent and emotionally charged as it is thrilling, you’ll never before have seen a show about firefighters quite like The Smoke.'
Mark plays a character called Les, though as yet there is no word as to how he fits into the show but as soon as we hear anything you will be the first to know.
Filming has already begun and it is likely that The Smoke will air on Sky 1 some time early in 2014.

Arnold Classic Europe 2012
If you read the article I wrote in the 'About' part of this site you will already know that Mark Griffin used to be a bodybuilder and still takes a great interest in all aspects of fitness, he is also still firm friends with former fellow Gladiators star Helen O'Reilly (Panther) so this past weekend (11-14 October 2012). Helen was making an appearence at the huge Arnold Classic Europe event, this year taking place in Madrid, Spain, due to the fact that some of the competitors taking part in the Classic train at her world class gym in Uxbridge, UK, Panthers Gym. Helen mentioned on Facebook recently that Mark Griffin would be attending the Classic with her this year but I cannot confirm if this took place. I am mentioning this mainly to state the fact that Mark is still involved in fitness (he is also a personal trainer) and to give you an idea about the amazing sport of bodybuilding that Mark has been a part of for over twenty years.
